MROCC SELF-STUDY CME ACTIVITY (Applicable for Recertification only)

As part of the recertification process, an approved MRO training course must be completed in the 5 years preceding the recertification examination and prior to taking the examination. Please note: Training used previously to fulfill the requirements to get certified/recertified as an MRO cannot be reused. The training requirement may be fulfilled by either the MROCC Self-Study CME activity or an approved MRO training course (see above). More detailed information on the MROCC Self-Study activity is available on the CME page.


MRO EXAMINATION OPTIONS

The online certification and recertification examinations are available year round to those who have completed the appropriate onsite or online MRO training. The MROCC onsite certification examination is administered immediately following the most onsite MRO training course offered by ACOEM and AOCOPM. Onsite course attendees can also opt to take the MROCC examination online following completion of the onsite course. Learners can register for the online MRO certification/recertification examination upon successful completion of the course (https://www.mrocc.org/getcertified.cfm).  
 

 

MRO TEAM MEMBER TRAINING

MRO Team Member certification/recertification is open to non-physician Team Members who assist and are directly supervised by a certified MRO. MRO Team Member certification is valid for three years. MROCC approved training is required for certification (see complete details/requirements). While MROCC does not offer MRO Team Member training, the following organizations offer approved courses throughout the year.

CERTIFICATION/RECERTIFICATION EXAMINATION


Those who have completed appropriate MRO Team Member training can register for the exam. The exam consists of multiple choice items, distributed by content area according to the examination blueprint, and intermingles recall (recognition), simple interpretation (analysis), and problem solving (evaluation) type questions. Examinees will have 30 days from their first log on to complete the examination. See complete details on MRO Team Member requirements and examination.
